This first Wisdom Theme brings us into contact with How We Think, realizing that everything we say and do arises from our thoughts. Thoughts lie at the root of every word we speak and every action we perform. Just as an athlete trains her body, we can train and transform our minds, and in doing so shift our habitual patterns and explore new ways of living. Through equine-assisted learning and experiential activities, participants will learn about and begin to practice these four guidelines: Humility, Patience, Contentment, Delight. At the end of this first workshop participants will have the tools and understanding to begin to reclaim those aspects of inner life that shape happiness through wisdom and compassion.
