Mindful Parenting and Partnerships: Humility, Patience, Contentment, Delight: How we Think
Whether it’s mindful parenting or infusing your relationships with intention and calm this 4 week special mindfulness course can change the way you think.  Based on the first Wisdom Theme of the 16 Guidelines, we will cultivate these qualities to help you change your mind to change your world:
Humility
Patience
Contentment
Delight
These first four guidelines in the series of 16 Guidelines give us an opportunity to reclaim the power of the mind – to shape our world by shaping our thoughts.
This mindfulness course will teach from the core principles of Universal Education, as put forth by the Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom (FDCW UK, patron the Dalai Lama). This means that the material in this course is universally accessible by examining our own experience and by becoming our own wise and kind ally.
What you get:
Three core techniques will be taught every class:
- Grounding and slowing down (mindfulness)
- Listening to the wisdom of the body (mind-body connection)
- Accessing compassion to make the most skill choice (reframing with wisdom and compassion)
